Alexander Zachary Mead Horton
Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. Ephesians 6:1
Coming into the Family
About the same time that Jasmine came into our family Alex also started to be a part of our family. We met Alex at church. His grandparents were bringing him to Bethel Baptist Church. He loved to find Daniel and give him a big hug each week. Through God’s provision Alex began to spend more time with us and then on the same day as Jasmine—he officially became a Horton. Our family is privileged to have added more grandparents when he became a Horton.
Monkeying Around
In Alex’s room he has monkey bars and a large rope to swing on. He is always up in a tree or anywhere that is off the ground. When he was little he would climb the door jam with his toys in tow and play way up there. He has started to take gymnastics classes again. They are a lot of fun. His first favorite thing in gymnastics is climbing this huge rope. His second favorite is doing round offs. If he is on ground level he enjoys playing with legos and his trains. He has a big collection of trains and when he and Daniel put theirs together then they have a huge train. Since school started Alex has joined the coloring festivities. He has a book that shows how to draw things and he loves making pictures from it.
