After Daniel’s basketball game I went to Grandma and Papa’s house to get ready for a Valentines dinner that we were going to have that night. I decorated the table and made place cards and napkin holders. It was really pretty—fancy. While I waited for the rest of my family to come, I sewed with Grandma. For dinner we had tomato soup, salad, teriyaki chicken, and green beans. It tasted very good. FOr desert we had heart shaped jello with bananas. The biggest heart had a banana smile on it’s face. After dinner we watched Snow Buddies. It was about following your dreams and team work. It was a fun Valentines Dinner. The End.

On New Years we went to the Bogardus’s house. We sledded and ice skated. I fell a couple of times when we were ice skating because it was my first time. We skated on a pond and then warmed up by a fire but I hardly did that because I was either ice skating or heading down a hill. We sledded at Double Arrow hill. There is this big bump and it hurts but it was really fun. We did fireworks and sparklers! It was really cold. Monica and I stayed up really late and talked on New years Eve. Monica is my friend. We like to correspond to each other. She likes horses just like me. We used to ride her horse named Gideon but he was really old and he died. That made me sad. She has a young horse named Star. She is training him so we can ride him sometime. She has a dog named Buster and a little cat named Patches. We had a lot of fun together. The End.

Last week our friends the Mathews came to our house. On Tuesday Hannah, Sarah, and I went to Mrs. Kinniburgh’s house to stamp. We each bleached a horse card and made another card. Mrs. Kinniburgh still had her Christmas decorations up. She got a really cool clock for Christmas and it comes apart and plays a song every hour. Hannah and Sarah really liked her village too. We had lots of fun stamping! Mrs. Kinniburgh gave me some chalk and an ink pad for stamping. She also gave me ice skates and roller skates. The End.
