Toads
The Little Frog and Squeaky!
About the Toads
When we were in Washington DC Florie caught two big toads. She kept them all the way to Montana. During that year she took them outside to play often. One day however, they hopped away. While at the Roedel’s house Mrs. Roedel told Florie and Jenea about a big toad that she found. It is now living in Gessler’s cage. Then while we were out at Lake Blaine Bible Camp Florie caught another little toad. It was very small. However, it did not take long before the toad grew. Now both of them are fat! They like to sleep in the water under a log or underneath everything in the cage. They squeak once in a while. They like to eat bugs, meal worms, and crickets. If their feeding bowl gets empty they plop themselves inside it waiting for their grub.
